July 3, 2026 – Current Status

Production turnaround times continue to improve across Wilmer, and many products are now at or near standard lead times. While some delays remain, turnaround times have generally stabilized. As a result, after this week's update, product status updates will move from a weekly to a bi-weekly cadence. We will continue to post interim updates whenever significant changes or important new information becomes available. See the table below for current status by product.

June 19, 2026 - Discontinued Items Update (NEW Searchable and Sortable Format)

We understand that recent product discontinuations have created real challenges for you and your customers. To support you, we’ve published a list of discontinued items to help you plan ahead and navigate next steps.
 
Where available, recommended substitutions are included. While there is no direct replacement for discontinued Pegboard and carbon-based products, some distributors have successfully transitioned customers to our Custom Forms, Invoices, and Receipts with two- and three-part configurations as a practical alternative.

We've created a simple, user-friendly tool designed to take the guesswork out of finding the right Checks & Forms product. As our SKU numbers have evolved over time, this guide makes it easy to quickly match old product numbers to their current versions, saving you time and reducing ordering errors. For added convenience, the guide is organized by product category, so you can quickly navigate to what you need. Whether you’re placing a new order or referencing past purchases, this easy-to-use resource helps you find exactly the right SKU—fast and with confidence.

May 29, 2026 - A Message from our Leadership Team

Dear Valued Customer

We want to provide a direct update regarding several legacy Wilmer product categories. After extensive operational review, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue support for select specialized products that can no longer be produced reliably or sustainably. This decision does not reflect the overall health of the business. However, like much of the manual checks and forms industry, these categories have faced years of declining demand, aging infrastructure, and increasing operational complexity.

Over the past year, you and your customers have experienced repeated downtime, product delays, outages, and inconsistent service levels across these categories. Despite extensive efforts to stabilize production, ongoing equipment limitations and operational challenges have made long-term support unsustainable. We also recognize that our communication and projected recovery timelines were overly optimistic and not always as predictable as customers needed them to be, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption this created.

Effective immediately, we are no longer accepting orders for impacted products and will close out orders currently awaiting production for the following categories:

  • Pegboard Checks and systems
  • Products with carbon including: Receipts, Visit Slips, Checks, Disbursement Forms, Combination Forms, Top Line Forms, Accounts Payable Forms, Journals, Ledgers, Daysheets, and Superbills

For future ordering alternatives, some distributors have successfully transitioned customers to our Custom Forms, Invoices, and Receipt solutions that support two- and three-part configurations. While these alternatives may not fully replicate legacy carbon-based pegboard systems, they may provide a workable path forward depending on customer needs.

For the remaining specialty products, such as laser checks, prescription pads, custom forms, pressure seals, and envelopes, our top priorities will continue to be maintaining consistent service levels and competitive offerings.

Looking to the Future and Investments in Progress

The manual checks and forms industry has experienced long-term market decline for many years, and many manufacturers have exited these product categories entirely. Despite these industry shifts, we have continued supporting these legacy products longer than most due to the importance of these customers and distributor relationships.

As we make these difficult operational decisions, we also continue investing across the broader business in print manufacturing capabilities, operational reliability, and product growth areas that support our distributor network today and into the future. This includes continued investments across stationery, business identity, folders, signs and graphics, stamps, badges, digital print technologies, finishing equipment, and production modernization initiatives throughout our manufacturing network.
